Amy Barickman at Good Ju Ju

Amy Barickman at Good Ju Ju - Kansas City's best antique and vintage store.

Whether you are shopping for gifts or gifts to make you will want to visit Amy Barickman, founder of Indygo Junction at Good Juju in November!

Amy is owner of sewing pattern and book publisher, Indygo Junction and author of award-winning Vintage Notions: An Inspiration Guide to Needlework, Cooking, Sewing, Fashion and Fun!

Her recent releases include a Vintage Notions Coloring book series, as well as her Vintage Notions Monthly Magazine. She also has two new hand embroidery books, Land that I Love and Folk Art Motifs.

She will be setting up a “pop-up” shop on the first floor of Good Juju selling her books and patterns as well as her new brand, Fabriflair. Think of Fabriflair as material amusements for needle & thread.  10% of proceeds from Amy’s sales at this event will be donated to the local non-profit Rightfully Sewn.

Check out this video explaining the product and process:

Amy will bring a collection of Indygo Junction’s patterns and books that are ideal for recycling thrift store finds like jeans, menswear, shirts and sweaters!

Watch Amy on  Indygo Junction’s Youtube Channel to see videos on everything from recycling denim into purses to hand embroidery techniques!

Then come visit her and shop at Good Ju Ju November 4th and 5th!
