Funky Bungalow Boutique is all about inspiration & family! Since 1897, our family has been entrepreneurial in spirit and life. My great, great Grandmother started over a century ago with the first restaurant in Northwest Missouri. Every generation has followed in her footsteps with family owned & operated restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, bakeries and retail gift stores. Each one of those businesses have focused on quality products, superior customer service and have worked diligently to give back to their communities.
In 1996, it was our turn to step out on our own and start our journey in the family business world. Mike, Sonny, Pam & Jon chose to focus on the gift, primitive and home fragrance industry. In the past 20 years we have owned country gift stores in Omaha, Nebraska, Maryville, Missouri, Branson, Missouri, Eureka Springs, Arkansas & Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have been featured in national magazines and television shows and have won several awards. Our proudest moments were winning the Press Award for best visual display at the Chicago Merchandise Mart, being awarded best of show at the Dallas Market Center and having our products featured in Midwest Living Magazine and on Good Morning America.
Today, as Funky Bungalow Boutique moves into the next chapter of life, we are focusing on our four lines of products: Art Prints Media, Old Glory Candle, Great Finds by Mustard Seed Markets & Bountiful Harvest Home Fragrance.
Art Prints Media is our framed art line. Our mantra is “Framing the Inspired Life” We curate art work from leading artists nationwide. The artwork we choose, we love. It's as simple as that. They mean something to us or remind us of days past, patriotism and inspire us and our customers with words to live by.
Old Glory Candle is our line of seasonal and timely scents. We will be focusing on our wax melts and fragrance oils at Good JuJu. They are time tested, solid, highly scented melts in fragrances that we know you will love.
Great Finds by Mustard Seed Markets is our line of vintage and primitive finds along with select one of a kind pieces that we find or repurpose. We love finding items that may be past their prime and having creative vision to give them new life and new purpose. Great Finds partners with two life long family friends to bring you these items. Occasionally, you will see one of a kind and custom picked items from Julie at Outlaw's Rendezvous and Amy at Alchemy Restoration. These two are great assets and we are proud to feature their pieces.
Bountiful Harvest Home Fragrance is where it's at! You can definitely follow your nose and find these products. Scoop your own bag from the heaping bowls of all natural botanical potpourri that feature flowers, herbs, cones, spices and fruits that are strongly scented and long lasting. Don't forget to grab an oil to refresh it or use in scent melters or candle warmers. Customers come back year after year to give their home the great smelling aroma of the seasons.
